Terms of Service

1. What we provide

Jobs Abroad is a job listing and CV service. We aggregate and publish information about international roles, including ones advertised as visa-sponsored, and we offer an optional paid CV optimisation service.

2. What we are not

We are not a recruitment agency, an employment bureau, or an immigration adviser. We do not employ you, we do not place you with employers, and we do not process visas. We are not a party to any application, interview, contract or visa process between you and an employer.

3. Subscriptions and payment

A subscription costs KSh 250 and grants access to full job listings for 30 days from the time payment is confirmed. CV optimisation is charged separately at KSh 1,500 per order. Payment is by M-Pesa. Subscriptions do not renew automatically — access simply ends when the period expires.

You are paying for access to listings and for the CV service itself. You are not paying for a job, an interview, a job offer, or a visa, and no such outcome is promised.

4. Accuracy of listings

Listings are compiled from employer and third-party sources. We take reasonable care, but we do not guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, still open, or that the advertised visa sponsorship is available. Verify any role directly with the employer before paying money to anyone, travelling, or resigning from existing employment.

We will never ask you to pay an employer, agent or recruiter through this platform. Treat any such request as fraudulent.

5. Refunds

6. Acceptable use

Your account is personal to you. You may not share credentials, resell or republish listings, scrape the site, or attempt to bypass the paywall. We may suspend accounts that do so, without refund.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [N] months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost earnings, travel costs, visa fees, or losses arising from your dealings with any employer or third party.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. We may suspend or discontinue the service, in which case we will honour or refund unexpired subscriptions on a pro-rata basis.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
